walkingdog.io provides a free dog-walking calculator, educational articles, and a newsletter. It is an informational product. It is not a veterinary service, a diagnostic tool, a medical device, a training service, or a substitute for professional advice from a qualified veterinarian.
3. Not veterinary advice
Numbers produced by the calculator are research-informed estimates based on the inputs you give us. Every dog is an individual. Breed, age, weight, coat, gait, prior injury, joint condition, cardiovascular health, heat tolerance, and many other factors change what a safe walk looks like. If your dog shows pain, lameness, unusual fatigue, laboured breathing, collapse, persistent panting, behavioural change, or any acute symptom, stop exercising and consult a veterinarian. In an emergency, contact an out-of-hours veterinary service immediately.

4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful or to infringe anyone's rights;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape aggressively, or circumvent the security of the site;

- present output from the calculator as professional veterinary advice to third parties;
- use the site to deliver malware or to phish our users or subscribers.

Article text, illustrations, the site design, and the calculator logic are owned by walkingdog.io or licensed to us. You may read and share articles for personal, non-commercial use.
